David Dreisinger, P.Eng., Ph.D. holds the position of Professor in Materials Engineering at UBC and Industrial Research Chair in Hydrometallurgy. His research focuses on developing novel metallurgical processes such as copper recovery from sulfide ores, the use of thiosulfate as an alternative to cyanide in gold leaching, and ion exchange removal of impurities.
